  • Can the soil be re-used or must it be thrown out after each growing season? Thanks! Oregon Coast Gal

  • @skipperooney , so sorry I did not respond to you! yes the soil can be reused up to five times, you will need to take off the top layer that contains the lime and fertilizer strip, and then top the box off off.

  • I'll bet you are a good cook!

  • I try! My husband is a good eater so that helps. I love a large variety of veggies!

  • Sorry again for taking so long to reply to you. The mesh was a stocking. I used it to provide the support for the Canteloupe as it grew heavier. It really did work well. I will do the same next season. I hope you do try the EB out. It is perfect for your patio area.

  • Gumbo sounds great I havent had good gumbo since 1994 in Texas we dont grow okra up here and not that many good gumbo chefs in central Washington the okra plant is a pretty plant I am going to have to try it how many plants for a family of 4 should i plant.

  • I planted six of the Bonnie Plants from Lowes. I have a family of five, but My eldest is not at home. My children are small. So that was plenty for my family. I even had enough to freeze a little.

  • Nice video, if you want to really improve your crops try using compost tea, you won't believe how well your plants will do. also acts as a bug deterrent when sprayed on the leaves. Its all natural, mother nature approved!!

  • Do you have any advice for corn in the earth box ? My corn tanked, I think they didn't get enuff light.

  • What exactly was the product that you used on pepper plant from "gardens alive"? Just curious

  • you could probably grow 1 okra plant in that box and it would take that box over. the leaves can get so huge.
