Even atheists (the smart ones) recognise that Jesus, the man, existed. Deniers may as well associate themselves with Holocaust Revisionists ("it didn't happen because I want to believe it didn't")

i see where you're going, people talking about people believing in Jesus Christ, where's the archaeological evidence? quote an archaeologist who says, "here is incontrovertible evidence for a historical Jesus." even if there is a historical Jesus, it doesn't make him divine. Siddhattha Gotama definitely existed, but does that make Buddhism truth? I think not

The authenticity of the Testimonium Flavianum (the Josephus passage) has been disputed since the 17th century, and by the mid 18th century the consensus view was that it had at a minimum been altered by Christian scribes, and possibly was outright forgery

The disputes present amongst scholars regarding Josephus' writings is whether or not some of Josephus' passages were embellished by later interpolations. The majority of scholars today agree the writings are authentic, but had some embellishments added. The passage provided in this video is one with those embellishments removed, and is not disputed but by a few of the most skeptical scholars.

this is excellent information that everyone should be given, and i didn't find out about until my 30's thanks to the internet. when little kids say, but how do we know the Bible is true, etc. other than what the Bible says? this is what they are asking for right here, in the only way they know to ask, and it is available, fortunately, so don't jump down their little throats or tell them to have more faith. give them the facts, they are lovers of truth, being from their father.

This is really good. But we need to keep in mind that no amount of evidence will ever convert anybody. You could spend literally 10 years with someone going over all the evidences from philosophy and fulfilled prophecy to archeological findings and the thousands of biblical manuscripts and not win that person over. Because it's all about grace, not intellect. If it were about intellect and nothing else, everyone would be a Christian because the evidence is overwhelming.

"everyone would be a Christian because the evidence is overwhelming."

In fact, at some point I'm sure some atheist will come along & mock me for saying something so stupid. "There's no evidence for God!" But this kind of objection never proves anything except the spiritual blindness of the person who raises it. Romans 1:18-23 makes it clear that all men know God because he has revealed himself to them. So those who don't believe do not do so for lack of evidence; they do so out of rebellion.
