@ilililhy1 Imost people can't simply say "I believe and that's that!" That is shallow water and soft ground my friend, people who live by blind faith are tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Jesus said if we don't believe Hm because of His words, believe because of His works (paraphrased) so how then can we believe in His works, if we can't even look into history and see that He existed and that He did those works? Jesus is not afraid of scrutiny and fact finding efforts

@dmhewey Do u LOVE THE LORD THY GOD W/ ALL UR HEART,MIND,SOUL & STRENGTH? Do u believe in GOD'S WORD-THE HOLY BIBLE & STAND ON IT? JESUS is GOD'S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON! For GOD so loved the world that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus paid the price on the Cross of Calvary for the sins of the world,so we don't have to die in our sins (Luke). Jesus came not to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance!

You give them the bible, it isn't enough they need more. You give them more they aren't good enough.Well guess what no other text in history has been preserved as well as the bible but guess what that still isn't enough for some people. You cannot see things you do not want to see.At the very least an atheist if he wants to be fair to Christians should debate them look at evidences but also ask God (honestly) the source of the faith to show Himself to them.Note:God shows himself differently tous.

Wtf! he presented the sanitized version of Josephus, the one "scholars" make up by leaving out the bits they don't like. What a lawyer!!!

The Josephus writings are widely regarded as a Medieval forgery which was appended to his original writings. Was Yshua (better translated as "Joshua" rather than "Jesus") a historical person born in Nazareth who traveled as an itinerant rabbi? Most likely he was, but making him into a "Son of God" was an ancient Hellenistic polytheistic belief which replaced the Jewish concept of "Messiah" with an idea that was more palatable to ancient Greeks.

@cnj4200 It is amazing how hard people don't want Jesus to be real. I think it has to do with the fear that they will be judged one day. Any chance to discredit religion mainly Christianity and Jesus only feeds their ability to be comfortable with themselves. It completely ridiculous to think that a group of guys invented Jesus and dedicated their lives to a non existing person or even a phony. To go outside of conventional religion is consider most extreme in Jesus's time not like it is now.

All of you who don't want Christianity to be real will ultimately claim anything that supports it is a forgery and false! I have been and am doing research on my beliefs so I know exactly what I believe and why. The more research I do the more it reinforces my beliefs!

Outstanding proof.

@corunderground i agree. if you don't believe in God then fair play to you, i would just hope you'd heard the gospel and looked into what your rejecting. However, to say that Jesus didnt exist is just daft, no matter your opinion of what Jesus was, he was definitely there.

exactly
The authenticity of the Testimonium Flavianum (the Josephus passage) has been disputed since the 17th century, and by the mid 18th century the consensus view was that it had at a minimum been altered by Christian scribes, and possibly was outright forgery

Josephus Writings cannot be taking as historical giving that they were corrupted! maybe you will ignore the facts of interpolation and possible forgery here but I won't!!
