Some parents put sports or activities before the good of their children's spiritual well-being. NewSpring Church Senior Pastor Perry Noble teaches on this in the latest series, "Now What?" For a full video, visit http://www.newspring.cc/series/nowwhat. Worship at one of our physical campuses or at the NewSpring Web Campus (http://www.newspring.cc/webcampus.) • @dalynthesk8r what I was listening to was groups like petra!

  • @puttincomputers (1) well, we're guys, of course were going to have those kind of tendencies. Its a constant battle, just fight it and think with your head before you do anything. stay obedient to Christ and do what he wants for you. and i take part of what i said back, the STYLE of music doesn't matter, but whats being SAID does matter. A couple weeks ago at the gauntlet Perry told us if we have any music that refers to girls and women as bitches or whores, then it needs to go. But Perry has

  • @dalynthesk8r uh, you have no idea what I used to be like. I used to listen all of the above until I realized that type of music made me want to hit on girls....and worse!

  • @puttincomputers God's message can be portrayed in any type of music, all this music isn't even going to matter in 50 years so why make a big deal over it. Make a big deal over something that does matter, and worry about your relationship with Christ

  • @puttincomputers.. YES THEY ARE.

  • you were going good until you hit the music bit. CCM, rock, and rap are not Godly music. I am 24 and even I know this.

  • Amen! When I was a little kid and in T-Ball, my mother had our coach of the team make our games on Saturdays 30 minutes AFTER "our" church's bible study. Even though none of the other children's parents did that and they didn't care, my family cared. My parents made sure that church came before my games, always. I have to say, I played better after praising and worshiping God too! One time, we didn't go and I go to church first, I got hit in the face with a ball. Never happened before or after!
