A documentation conducted by the Philippine National Museum personnel (Dir. Corazon Alvina, Engr. Orly Abinion, Arch. Buboy Dado, Norly Tolentino, Jerry Tabirao, Maning Arganda) of the church of Malaweg, in Rizal, Cagayan, Philippines. July 2009
restoration of the church meant a lot to us malauegs. we see the church as a living monument of our identity as a people. the malauegs are inherently peace loving, deeply religious, very loyal, fierce warriors of rightful causes, and industrious, among other virtues. restoration of the church in its original get up may be God's instrument for us to restore in us the original malaueg' virtues. this the only way we could bring back the glory that was. from the villaflor clan
Our thanks to Dir. Alvina and company for visiting our town Rizal. Our church needs a lot of work. Please make this restoration come true. God bless..... From Bobby R. Houston, TX.
