I am really excited about putting this video together, as I think this composition is off the chart great! I hope you enjoy it.
If not at least you had an opportunity to expand your listening. Peace.

Little Pocket Size Demons comes from the album Too Much Sugar For a Dime.
Yess here we have a find example of great music. Of course everything must be labeled. The label most place of this if they are not running for the hills lol is avant-garde. All the tracks on Mr. Threadgill's Too Much Sugar For A Dime are originals. I agree this can be challenging to the listener but it can be very rewarding as well. Who said the WILD side is only for Rockers. (By the way I am a fan of Progressive Rock so no hate comments please, lol). This work is not related to Merle Travis work (that I know of).
Mr. Threadgill began making a name for himself in the 1970s leading ensembles with out of the ordinary instrumentation and often incorporating a variety of non-jazz genres like chamber music. Henry Threadgill, is an underrated alto saxophone player and flutist. He is also one of the most thought provoking and original of jazz composers today.
