This is Hungarian.
MEDVE is 'bear' in Hungarian, but this isn't a full grown bear... it's like a cub... macsko... maczko... or maci (MAT-see) for short. No Nazis. No Brits.
Actually, gummy bears are made in Hungary. I think most of the factories are there. The company is German or Austrian in major ownership, but a lot of the gooey critters are spit outa machines in Hungary. Look at the back of a bag next time you eat some.
