Equine Idol Entry; In my world...

Ok so I did this in 10 mins, I tried my best but.. this video is a little iffy =P

To the judges: Didnt mean to make this seem like a "I do this, I do that, Im so great"... ego type of video. I just wanted to show you guys that I do actually do all my own work and that I have to work hard for what I want.
The horses I ride are not all what you'd call "made horses" They all have their own set of issues and things that must be looked past and worked thru, and there you have.. a good horse. Maybe not an amazing winner in the show ring, but something I look at as a goal to set. Not winning the Maclay for me, but maybe something as simple as knowing that my horse really knows and trust me (:

Showing is expensive and my horse situation does limit the amount I show so, no clips of that. I believe that accomplishing goals at home is just as, or even more rewarding than at a show. =)

NOTE: I know this video has created some opinions, which is fin but i just wanted to say that although I am not at a big boarding stable I still respect those who are as I know that school and riding along with other things can be a big time suck. But come on guys, thats no excuse. Can you just take one second to sit there and pet your horse instead of jumping off, handing it to the groom and going home? And for some at the big training barns, they will actually spend time with their horses, maybe not do all the work, but they DO make an effort to get to know their ride. Not bashing ANYONE Im just saying, get to know your horse on the ground, NOT just undersaddle =)

So true, I hate when I see spoilt brats at shows just handing the pony to their groom. One time I actually saw someone get off a pony and just walk away from it and complain to their parents that its not good enough and they want a new one -.-, If I said that my mother would sell it straight away, and there wouldnt be another! Ive never had a made pony, unless you count the 19 yr old i had when I was 7, but I dont think that really counts haha :) <3 all you vids, so inspiring!! :) xx Greyhorse95
