  • I began learning Shotokan and traditional Jujitsu 17 years ago from my Senseis, Tom and Norma Whitehead Hanshi, 10th Dan & 8th Dan respectively. During my very first class Sensei Norma talked about Pauline Sensei and how she had inspired her to learn Shotokan.

I am forever indebted to people like your mother and my Senseis - without them I would be the person I was, not who I am today.

    Domo arigato.

  • @johnnyboy2k thank you so much for keeping her spirit alive

  • Hi Jay,

Just received the latest catalogue in the post and was shocked and saddened to read about the passing of your mother, the legendary Pauline Bindra.

A touching tribute and it brought tears to my eyes. I lost my father sudenly and tragically 2 years ago and know how you are feeling brother. Very sorry to hear of this. Stay strong and remember the love.

    Bobby (progressive kickboxing academy)

  • @KHALSAWARRIOR Thanks Bobby, she meant everything to me, and I will do my best to keep her spirit alive.

Sorry to hear about your father, I know we will be reunited with them one day, so keep strong mate.

    Kind Regards

    Jay
