@MrGrandDragon I was under the impression for instance that the hamza was very light and many times nil in the Qurayshi dialect. So why do we have qira'aat that pronounce the hamza so strongly. Also where are the other Harf.? Lastly, what consititutes a harf exactly?
Firstly is is important to understand the Qur'an we are reading today is only in one Harf (of the seven Ahruf) after Uthmaan (ra) standardised the Qur'an according to the Qurayshi dialect.
The Qira'at are methods of pronunciation used in the recitation of the Qur'an based ONLY on that Harf of Qurayshi Dialect (the ONLY one used today).
@MrGrandDragon Since you are so intelligent and not silly like me. Why don't you explain the difference between an harf and a qira'at? Let's see if you can invent any real differences. The floor is yours.
@MrGrandDragon You can laugh if you like. But apparently there were seven Ahruf but now we have over 10 different Ahruf of the Quran. And these are the mutawaatir Ahruf. After all a Qiraa'at is only a harf of the Quran. And that is only counting the mutawaatir, we are not counting the shadhdh and others. So you can laught if you like but this story is an insufficient explanation of the variants we find in the language of the Quran. Again, amazingly they all agree and that is what really counts
It is in the AUTHENTIC Hadith, documented by Al Bukhari and others Mujtahids, who preserved and transmitted these Ahadeeth with isnaad and verification
I don't believe in that seven ahruf story. People replaced words with synonyms, and Classical dialectical variants MISTAKENLY. Amazingly all of the qiraa''at agree with each other. But the last prophet had nothing to do with this. These are people's mistakes and God still provided a way to correct these people's mistakes by preserving the common meaning amidst the variants. Let's not rely on these rumorous, non-mutawaatir, unquranic hadeeth when it comes to the Quran. Let's use sound logic?

No you silly there are ONLY 7 Ahruf. You are confusing Ahruf with Qira'at.
