CNN Headline march 10 2008

Barack Obama speaks to a crowd in Columbus Mississippi, addressing The Clinton's suggestion calling for a joint ticket in November.

"I want everybody to be absolutely clear here.We are in a tough battle,
and I don't presume that I have won this election.

Senator Clinton is fighting hard, she is tenacious.I respect her for that.

She is working hard to win the nomination.

But I want everybody to be absolutely clear.

I'm not running for Vice-President.

I'm running for President of The United States of America".

  • Yes! Just the change we need!

    Bring the Clintons back,

    and all their cronies too!

What could be more exciting (distracting)than Bill Clinton nominated as the Ambassador to the United Nations...?Watching two dogs mate.

  • I wish it had more of his speech than this short clip.

  • It's just meant to be a quick media soundbite, sorry bout that.

You can find the whole speech on YT though,

    I'm sure.

  • I was at this Obama event. He had the whole audience hanging on his every word. He's a great man and will make a great president.

  • Of course its fantasy. The suggestion of a joint ticket was simply a way to diminish Obama's status. It was condescending in the extreme. - Older white woman patting younger black man on the head saying "there there - maybe next time"

Clinton, it seems, is only really good at trying to capsize the very boat she is riding in.

  • Senator Clinton will make an excellent Secretary of State to counter Condoleeza Rice. What would be more exciting is to see former President Bill Clinton to be nominated as the Ambassador to the United Nations. The couple being appointed to these positions will surely signal to the world that President-elect Obama is reaching out beyond borders. Who knows with the world's cooperation, Bin Laden has no place else to hide and he very well be captured or surrender for trial, just like Saddam.

  • Hillary for president 2012! Most women are backing you till the end! So don't worry if you don't get to be VP 09.

  • Come back in 4,8 years...

  • I like Obama. I like his personality and manner. But, I like McCain's personality too. I don't like Hillary. I guess you got that already, though. lol. :)

  • GO watch his whole speech on this and someone respond to my opinion below:

And once again he goes back to his "judgment" over Iraq, can you say something else Obama? Maybe you have good judgment since you omitted 100 times on decisions in congress? Never thought of that?

  • I bet Obama will be President. I just have a feeling about it. Heack, I could be wrong but I'm sticking with that.... :)

  • No way Obama is trust worthy to serve as president. He may get in and then give Tony Rezko a pardon. It funny all those states that voted for George W. Bush voted for this guy. With the Tony Rezko business this man is just not trustworthy he talks a good game but can you really trust him with the ball. So big money or crooked money in action again.

  • Im voting for John McCain. NATIONAL SECURITY is his STRONG SUIT. He is PRO-LIFE. He wants to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. He is against pork barrel spending. I belive he will have a STRONG economic team.

  • It's all about doing the right things instead of doing things right!

Go Barack go... Obama for president!!!
