It helps to have heavy guys hold the box. 8-)
As for the other post questions: I usually use about 30 liters in 3-5 boxes. Since the styrofoam is such a good insulator, your hands don't get cold. I have got up to a ten foot explosion. The key to height is for the liquid nitrogen to be about 1-2 inches below the top of the box ... then the water rushes in and you get a great explosion.
