A prominent member of the Slavic community in Sacramento, George Neverov, delivers a speech before the Sacramento City Unified School District School Board on April 6th, 2006. His speech addresses the Day of Silence resolution (#2451) being considered by the board members.

  • George Neverov is a dear man of deep conviction of values. He and his family gave up everything to leave the former Soviet Union (he's Russian, from Tashkent, Uzbekistan) and come to America for a better life where he now enjoys the freedom of speech he was denied for the first part of his life. He's a proud American. Let him speak. It's a liberty he now enjoys by operation of the US Constitution. The applause from the audience says far more than any of your negative posts.
