Adarsha Shivakumar

In December of 2007, 14-year-old Adarsha co-founded Project Jatropha, an organization dedicated to promoting the plant Jatropha curcas as an ecologically friendly and economically profitable crop among the farmers of rural India. I am 74 years old and I watched Adarsha and Alec Speak on the awards ceremony. I feel that our country is in safe hands. Adarsha reminds me of young Obama and Alec is Al Gore! This year the awards committee has brought two young leaders who will make a difference.!
