Piccolo Theatre's annual holiday panto for 2008 was "Robinson Crusoe," scripted by Ken Raabe and directed by John Szostek. The panto was performed inside a giant toy theater set in the Evanston (IL) Arts Depot, a real functioning train station. The character here depicted, played by Ken Raabe, sings about his checkered past in an old music hall standard, "Major Ginger." (The original title is "Captain Ginger.") Also singing their brains out are Liz Larsen-Silva, Glenn Proud, Brianna Sloane, Laura Skowkan, Vic May, and Amira Sabbagh.
