@Manollo06 lol ist doch scheiss egal ob mit ss oder ß ^^
-
sorry but are you FUCKING CRAZY to record yourself while driving ?
this is the reason for accidents and then WE ( germans ) will be punished when we will get a speed limit
-
She is holding the camera?
-
What else do you think it could be? =)

Not Scheiss exactly is it Scheiß with a ß. ;)

See we're supposed to pass on the right. In the U.S., the left lane is for driving a little faster than the other lanes. (Well, technically the far left lane is for carpool and motorcyclists.) In my city, the lanes are 7 lanes wide. Even if there was no speed limit here, traffic would still be congested and you'd be slowing down every second. Plus you save on gas driving slower anyway. I just let people pass me.

not on the left lane!!! dont use the left lane...not with 100kmh!!!! you can use it when you drive about 200kmh....i hate it when there are some idiots going so damn slow on this lane...

is that a clock in your dash next to the mph gauge?
-
I would stay on the right lane far more often than you did. I lived in a rural area of Germany and it is very common to see cars driving in excess of 210 km/h (135 mph). They all still would get back to the right because there are always somebody wanting to go faster. Staying on the left can get you a heavy fine.

Do you like it? How much Horsepower?
Oh, I've got another question. What does "sheiss-egale" mean and how is it spelled? I think it means something like "I don't car". :)

Recon - Yes, exactly... I wanted to eliminate certain stereotypes people have of the German Autobahn with this video. And thanks for the tip - I was actually in the process of getting my German Driver's License at the time - thus the exaggerated looks over the shoulder.
"Sheiss-egal" is how it's spelled and you're right - it means "I don't care in the least bit." You'd actually say "Das ist mir Scheiss-egal."

Thank you for the clarification.
Today two friends of me and I did a trip to Solingen, Hohenlimburg (Hagen), Essen and Münster to visit some German funfairs. Enroute we encountered more sections of highway with a speedlimit (80, 100 or 120) than without.
Anyway, we had a lovely day and it was worth the 650km I did today.

The speedlimits are typical Ruhrgebiet, I think... in this area, the Autobahns are more concentrated than in some other parts of Germany, and there's also a ton of construction going on. Solingen (or was it Remscheid?) was actually where I bought my car that's in the video. :)
650 km in one day? Not bad...
