1) It looks, and in fact, is ignorant.  2) It's not that much effort. You were willing to take the effort to upload it in the first place. But you were not willing to bother to find out who the artist is (a simple google search of the lyrics works) or to change it once you found out it was wrong? It's pretty much a slap in the face to the real artist, as I see it.

Part of me understands the Jets to Brazil fanboy anger.. that a song they love gets attributed to another artist.

Having said that, I would have never heard of this song or this band if it wasn't for the fact that the song was misattributed to Damien Rice.

That may be a completely travesty, and some Jets to Brazil fans may look down on me because of that fact. But I don't care. Because of the mistake I'm listening to a song I think is great.
