So true... having to lose your citizenship in order to be with the person you love... totally unreal in 2009 still... me and my partner are a living proof of that. An Italian and Australian in the UK. It sucks. But for love it's all worth it! :)

in the uk yes. that was back in 2008. Now in 2011 we splet up, due to me needing to be near my mum here in italy and her not been able to come due to the laws (italy does not recognise) i would have NEVER wanted us to end, but in the end, due to those laws, i felt i had no choice, couldn't leave my mother alone any longer. Fucking government should have no say on people's choises on who to love. we were together for 8 years :( I still love her.

@ NinaBauer... I agree with everything you've said , you put it really well together... however imo Zena & Gabriel have grown to love in the series esp. towards the end, it was so obvious, even Renee said in one of her interviews that Gaby has fallen in love with Zena, so... plus you can't deny the body language not in the series & not in RL, they're totally in love but I doubt they'll ever admit it even to themselves 'coz that alone would ruin their careers not to mention their families too.
