  • I was laughing at what the young lady said at 2.00- 'theyre more religious' Brits would definately see it the other way around.

  • A little too stereotypical. Us British aren't posh, don't drink too much tea + eat too many biscuits, we're not 'high class' and don't have bad teeth and bad breath. I don't know why you Americans think we're like that. If we were posh and drink too much tea and biscuits don't you think that we would all be fat and malnutritioned? If we all have bad teeth then whats the point of having dentists here?

For those of you who think that we only eat "crumpets" or "scones" then your just stupid ^^

  • the guy is crazy he said we need more Margaret Thatchers

  • These lot would be in a different world if they went on a council estate. Them stereotypes are mainly because of London. Most British people in films, shows, games are Londoners. I bet most Americans think it's what we all speak like.

  • I think the guy in the blue US shirt who said they do pretty much the same stuff was the closest to being right. The US and Britain are a lot more similar than you think. US's cultural heritage is British and both are consumer nations, world powers, and speak English. The value of freedom is more important to to Americans, but there is also the pressure to conform there more than Britain. Brits have more of history and it is deeper, but the US uses their own history for patriotic propaganda more

  • @whyeff21 you could say that about any country, but it's important for every country to know a bit about other cultures in other parts of the world rather than simply guess. Also given that the US and UK are allies currently fighting in the middle east it might actually help if the knowledge of the two cultures was a two way thing.

  • The religious comment is the one that everybody is surprised by. The posh fancy comment isn't.

US bank note- In God We Trust

    English £10 note- Charles Darwin

  • @whyeff21 Yeh i no what u mean, you shouldn't have to no everything about Britain, i dont expect that. I was just saying how shocking it how little people do no. They think we only have one accent that is really posh and other weird stuff. I just think people really dont have a clue what Britain is like.

  • @UpSyndrome2 I think it's more appropriate for Americans to know about America. Don't get me wrong Britain has great qualities.. but do Americans have to know about Britain just as much the USA? Americans are mainly into American culture and what opportunity the country brings. Cheers from LA

  • Margaret Thatcher was NOT a good leader

  • Why are these British commenters getting mad ? They weren't dissing you ... - a canadian

  • LOL its quite scary how little people really know about Britain. Wow
