This little slide show presents an almost start-to-finish progression of a watercolor portrait I completed. It is missing the first few steps of showing the original drawing and the first wash of facial color. A detailed graphite drawing was completed first since the photo was washed out and shadow shapes were not well defined. The drawing became the plan for the painting. Total time on the painting itself was collectively about 8-10 hours. The slides seem a little color saturated due to the camera's white balance setting. The finished painting appears to be accurately displayed in the final few slides.
