ViewSonic PJD5123 test run!

This is our projector, with 3D when wanted (Not buying the glasses just yet tho) anywho, Bought a cheap drop cloth from a paint store and this is what we got, For a $300 Projector I was very amazed at the quality! Hopefully I can get something set up for movies outdoors, But this will do for now, Easy set up and amazing watching moves at 12 feet x 15 feet! lol

Hi I just bought this same projector and the image and color doesn't look nearly as good as yours. Also, I can easily see the pixels in the projected image. Yours looks wider than the projector's 4:3 aspect ratio.

@Syrinx69 What video source are you using? If your using a video with a lower resolution you will get that, try and use a dvd player, or something with a high resolution..  I had the same thing with some video's.. also Im using a laptop, So i can change the aspect ratio in the media player, But we also have that option on the projector its self, You can change it there as well.

@Aztekious I've been looking to purchase this exact model projector. Are you quite happy with it? How does it perform in the daytime? with some light coming into the room. I have blackout curtains, and I have this cheap Cinego D1000 projector I picked up of Craigslist with only 900 lumens, and it does not do well at all, so I use it at night only. But the Viewsonic has 3 times that lumen count so I'm hoping it will be great during the day.

please answer....this particular model has a 1 watt speaker...are you able to hook up a surround sound to it?
