That's what I do too! I mean, at least then it stays in the tube and can be re-used.

I agree, what I do is wipe the wand of my mascara onto the mascara tube lid, that way im not wasting any.

the only thing i disagree with is cleaning off the mascara wand. That stuff is expensive sometimes! Why would anyone want to waste it? If it's a good mascara anyway, it's not going to leave clumps.
