While at the Microsoft Xbox E3 2009 Press Event Peter Molyneux, founder of Lionhead studios, gave a demo of what kind of possibilities in game development are available with the new motion control / voice recognition game control paradigm.

The demo was called "Milo & Kate" it featured a NPC named "Milo" who is a little boy and a real woman named "Kate" interacting with Milo through the "Project Natal" system. As you can see by the video, the idea of the future of interaction in games is truly thought provoking.

  • The bad thing about that is if a child has no friends they might get too attached to it and have no social skills..... Hmm.. But still cool. It would be used by kids more than adult. They were just demonstrating it with an adult cause if you asked a kid they would just ruin the demonstration.

  • Woah that looks awesome. I can't wait for that to come out. But what's puzzling me is that this was a year ago and it's still not out.... Hope it will be soon.

  • we need to see another demo or more gameplay to believe it

  • You know, it's still in development, and even though this game might seem a bit... boring, from a gamer's point of view, it can be VERY interesting to see tech like this in other games! :D

  • if he really can interact with you. then i wil lget a fucking knife and try to scare him and if he didnt react then it will fucking ruin the experience... just logic this is bullshit right here

  • The pedofile all over the world new favorite toy

  • LOOL This is just a game for pedos... at least it will help keep them off the streets :P

  • this can be sorta rather.. errr... shall we say. disturbing.

grown people. playing with little boys (milo) or worse, little girls (mily version)

    it just seems wrong..........

the micheal jackson incedent springs to mind.

  • Don't expect more from milo until june 15, 2010 at E3 2010

  • The body is actually a bit more difficult to simulate than the mind
