Every bird has their shrieking days, even the 'best' of them. You're right, a lot of people don't put in what they should, but don't associate the bird making noise with some form of neglect. Birds live in a natural state of cacophony, with 100's of members all making noises at once. You can't expect them to be completely silent and good when put in a human home.
My neighbors have a parrot and they don't give it enough attention or play time and it shrieks all the time. I don't hear this bird shrieking. Your bird is a thousand times less noisy then my neighbor's bird. Getting one is quite a commitment, which is why I could never own one!
I am a firm believer that a cage is for when you are away from your home and at bed time! That cage works for that purpose! I also believe that if you are home then the bird should be allowed outside of the cage! Remember these are very social birds and bond closely with its family! They desire interaction and stimulation therefore a cage should not be anything but his safe place and does not have to take up a whole corner of a house! Great Bird!!!
That cage is not that bad if he spends alot of time outside of it for exercise! Some people believe that a bird of that size requires a very large cage. Have you ever watched a parrot? They spend 75% of their time just perched in one spot regardless of the size of the cage! So if the bird can spend at least 4 hours a day outside of the cage then it is quite adequate for him! The problem with most of the comments are that these people have little knowledge about Parrots!
oh my god people, give the guy a break, you have absolutely no idea how the parrot is treated nor the condition of the cage, for all you know that could be a night cage or a spare one until another arrives. Dont make false assumptions its rude and uncalled for, and as for the parrot, i love my african grey dearly but yeah i too can get annoyed when she goes on and on, human nature, i dont love her any less, and wouldnt change her for the world =)
when i got the african grey and put the video on Youtube the same day i got a big cage delivered as he was only in there for 3 days and im getting people sayn dumbass mother fucker by a new cage they dont know shit
Hope this parrot found another home since this video was posted - somewhere he has a nice big cage and lots of toys to entertain and challenge his smart little mind!
Dumb ass motherfucker...Buy a new cage you idiot...And toys...And maybe a life with love for this babyyyy...He don't deserve such unkindness, you moron.
