  • It's just exceptionally fine live recording, and with a CHIEF CONDUCTOR, Claudio Abbado. Viktoria Mullova is a great soloist, and I consider myself too privileged to watch this video performance. It makes me wonder in the clouds, with sheer beauty and power. The composer, not the least, is one of my favorites.

  • im a big fan of Mullova!

  • Anyone knows when was this concert?

  • i saw her yesterday :3

  • The video has obvious sync problems. For those who are not familiar with Mullova, check out her Sibelius violin concerto with Boston Symphony Orchestra under Seiji Ozawa on Philips Records. I first heard it 22 years ago and I still consider it the best rendition so far. Funny that Mullova herself is not particularly drawn to the Sibelius concerto. Her Tchaikovsky is also among the best performances in my opinion.

  • She refines and gives a good sound that well. But sometimes sound and solo breaks can never do that. Things of violinists, but being virtuous happen to us should not happen.

  • @ZsoltMagyar actually the woman play s fantastic i changed my mind

  • @ZsoltMagyar well i don t need to look to her to say that she plays like a robot,in fact i hate when musicians make to much movements.

  • @artlvr16 She is russsian...she left the Soviet Union..
