@jeanverdonck due to experience I can tell you that even when you drive over 220km/h there is more than enough time to apply the brakes.
-
Wow, I didn't know that was even possible. Why did the police allow a radar signal to shoot out over a KM? Hmm.
I really want one of these badboys! But they cost WAY to much!

997 Turbo 170 mph through french motorway, gave me plenty of warning about a sneaky van on side of motorway with cops pointing a laser out the window. 10 seconds was plenty of warning considering my speed.

we drove 304 km in 996 turbo passing an laser gun... never got any bill

try to drive 180 km and Stinger don't see the radar.

When speed is detected using a hand-held radar device, a radar detector or a spectrum analysis does not offer any significant protection when your speed exceeds 160km per hour. Furthermore, traffic police in some European member states monitor speed using radar speeding detectors aimed at the back of vehicles. The chance of detecting a mobile speed radar detector at a safe distance, providing you with a sufficient amount of time to apply the brakes, is completely impossible. STINGER DON'T WORK

The radar in this video is aimed at the back of the vehicles. There's more then enough time to apply the brakes.

@Woeterb
Hi mate, I have a question... How did it detect the van up ahead? was it due to the fact that its the "known" hiding place... Or did it REALLY detect it on its own from that distance? Please reply asap, I was hoping to get one of these at the end of the week.
