this song mean so much to me it brings back bad memories but also makes me so happy that I have moved forward and put my past behind me. my mom is an alcohalic and use to beat on me, her bf lived next door & she would always be there, I would go in my room, put this cd in my stereo, turn it all the way up &raise my arms high & praise & sing as loud as I could till I was in tears praying for help, some ppl say praying is dumb, and god wont hear you... but he did....he really did... <3

@FourWordLetter524 i was unclear. evolution doesn't draw it's credibility ONLY from the fossil record, it's just one more piece of evidence. at best, what you're saying is opinion. the bible's perspective of what is pain & especially brokenness is pretty subjective. moreover, it can just as easily be explained by human nature, economics, politics and what have you. i used the word delusional because you seem to think more is owed to you after death? when there is absolutely no reason to think it

@katinkers Wow, I must have missed that memo. Last I heard no one could bridge the fossil record because of the Cambrian explosion. But really that is besides the point. And how is anything I believe delusional? You apparently have absolutely no clue what the Bible says, because all the pain and brokeness in the world today is clearly described and explained in the first 3 chapters of the whole book. In fact, Christianity has the most complete explanation for why there is crap in the world.

@katinkers But why? Ultimately you can believe all this, but what is the point? I am not hear to argue evolution, but how can someone honestly live there life believing a theory (Darwinian macro-evolution is still a theory, by the way; you can't just say that it is a fact) that takes away the purpose for us being on Earth. If I buy into macro-evolution, all that I coming to me is a small hole in the ground where my body will rot into nothing. How can you believe that? Don't you yearn for more?

@BIGDADDYDUKE2 i know you're not. my only point is that religion only ever existed because it was the best foot forward primitive men had to peice together a world they couldn't understand. the same way darwin's theory of evolution is the best foot forward biologists have to piece together how the world is what it is today. i know you're just trying to reassure me that i can always find comfort in christ, but i can't recieve what you're saying because it doesn't make any sense to me :/

everything we understand about atoms. interesting that you can discredit evolution as a theory, as well supported as it is, and advocate christianity. kind of hypocritical, no? if there were no living organisms to love there would still be rocks, planets, grass, weather etc..
