The greatest band ever until McDonald came by and turned it to disco rubbish. I'll bet Baxter was sorry he ever heard of the guy!. I thought he made a mess of Steely Dan too. He was too bubble gummy commercial oriented. That was something the Doobie's were not! Seeing Pat in the background as the token Doobie Brother made me wonder why he stayed so long. His rhythm playing is some of the absolute best I have ever heard to this day. He was a guitar GOD! Tom and Skunk were great too.
