September 19, 2003
Venue: Vodafone Arena
Melbourne, Australia
Part of the concert filmed on a video8 camera the cameraman
takes a few minutes before he zooms in but with the spotlight
on Jon Anderson and the powerful light show the video8 struggles
to get much detail but it does look better on a TV rather than
on a PC monitor.
Jon Anderson's vocal seems a bit low and he singles to the side
stage at 4'45, there is a minor (split second) audio drop out
around 7'40 but other than that for a video8 nearly 100 metres
from the stage it's ok
**** SPECIAL NOTE **** The person did not film all of the concert
but a few rows in front of him was a male using a tripod who filmed
everything and after the concert got his phone number to trade but
lost it and hoped the video would turn up but nothing has in the
past 2 years since the concert.
I got him to give me something from his VHS tape to seed in the hope
that maybe this information will be helpful to any Australian Yes fans
to know there is a tripod filmed complete video of the concert in
Melbourne and could they keep an eye out for it.
Thanks to AZRAEL for upping it sometime ago on internet.
I was at this gig! I remember Steve having lots of problems with his acoustic guitars and his roadie got into a fight with the support act (for pulling the guitarists lead out mid-solo!) Never though I'd see violence on stage at a YES gig....

Y'all,
I've remade my SYDNEY YES VIDEO - adding (subbing) the best* audio - of several versions I had.
*the best being my own recording, strangely

not to say that this isn't an amazing preformance because it really is, i saw YES in 02 and they were better than the records, but it's interesting that if you listen to the live preformance of this from the 70s and compare it to this one they seem to be playing the song a lot slower. i like this tempo better though because it's alot more spot on than the 70s preformance

So I did in Monterrey, México. Great show, even better than Pink Floyd, which was pretty good as well.
