Adel White IKEA cabinets and Wilsonart Milano Quartz countertops with spiffy new silverware drawer. Mostly complete renovation of gutted kitchen with new white appliances. French door fridge? Great. Freestanding double oven/range? Extra great. Enough room to store things in the corner lazy susan and overhead? Relief.

  • Hi did you mention in your video the type of edge you have on your countertop?

  • It's the 180 degree / double round. It's on all the edges but the blunt ends. I'd considered the double ogee, but it meant a shorter or non-integrated backsplash. I've seen what happens to non-integrated laminate backsplashes near water and they always get gross, so I chose one that was compatible. Plus the installation company (PRIDE from West Hollywood, did a great job) didn't have to outsource it.

It was an upgrade of a few bucks/foot. Worth it not to have the unfinished under-edge.

  • I absolutely love this color on the wall. What is the name of it? Does your microwave overheat at all? thanks
