My apologies! You were right about the depth these images were taken: between 1500 and 2500 meters. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to have the exact depth measurements. An awesome document, however.

It seems hard to believe that this happened at 7000 feet below the sea, given the fact that there's still some light to be seen. Looks like it was between 250-300 meters deep instead. Anyway, I suggest to see this either in silence or with some Autechre's song like Silverside from their 1994 album called Amber. This is a truly moving scene, so awesome and meaningful in its own way. Thanks for such an outstanding achievement.
