Frickin awesome video man..
I do this all day, unfortunately it's on X-plane in the Carenado Archer II..Much cheaper though!

@nivenhuh i was fly just a few days ago myself and my instructor said, would you rather have an engine with dirt in it, or an engine that doesn't even run, he most likely did that do prevent carb icing,

@JohnnyEMatos it's not necesary, but it gives more power when you take off
But it is always necesary to use the fuel pump to turn the engine on ;)
-
@JohnnyEMatos Just depends on the aircraft. Low wings with Lycomming usually require it, continental usually don't. But like I said it just depends on a/c

Hey man that was awesome! Quick question, what camera did you use to record this?

@737pilot7 It's a Panasonic DMC-ZS3, just a point-and-shoot camera that can do 720p video.

Why was the alternate frequency 121.5, that's an emergency frequency, isn't that?

@tkdloveraus We're trained from our flying club to check 121.50 for the ELT after we land. It was left from that.

@tkdloveraus fair enough, but we turned straight to ground for taxi clearance after landing in Aus

@tkdloveraus That's what we do too but our flying club doesn't have a tower and it's not in controlled airspace.
