I do believe pianist Joe Turner used the solo Fats plays on this for the basis of his own tune "The Ladder" which he recorded in the 1940s, I think.

FANTASTIC recording! Terrific solos from Fats Waller, in fact, everyone plays well on this! Just look at that lineup! That's a jazz hall-of-fame if I ever saw one!!!
