  • You can side the Ceasefire if you want, but drop the Swords of Revealing Light. Stall tactics never prosper in this day and age. I speak from experience.

    i appreciate the advice, im going to see how it runs a bit with priestess, and if it isnt working out the way i want it to, ill prob drop her altogether and add a S/T spot so im not overloaded with monsters since i can always bring them back with stele. might also (if i get another warning or PoD) remove 1 Rite of Spirit for prevention or draw power. i was running Dark World Dealings for a bit for draw power, but it wasnt worth it for going even.

    finally: i was thinking of teching 2-3 needle worms for a few reasons. 1: to alleviate the pressure on spy, 2: to add to the graveyard which they have trouble accessing and possibly milling out their warnings/Judgements and decrees. only deck that would hurt would be JD lightsworn unless i hit JD or Wulf or Ryko. but i would obviously side these out for banisher of the lights at that point.. your thoughts?

  • Run a least 2 Imperial Iron Wall in your Side Deck against RFP shenanigans. if you're lucky you can always chain it to your own Allure essentially making it a Pot of Greed.

    I do like the tech'd Morphing Jar, but it would probably be best to follow up with a Royal Tribute, meaning you'd need to protect that set monster until your turn, which you don't have many ways of doing.

    I just looked at your update. Priestess doesn't offer enough to justify running her. I'd stick with Assailant over her.

    and that is another reason i like Jar, because if i have a trib in hand when i set jar, i set it, hand out, set as much as i can and then play it, that has been a big combo for me lately. and telling me to get rid of swords for that reason makes it harder to protect my monsters, but i think im putting it in the side. anyway, the priestess does have purpose over assailant: i can stele for an Assail or search him with recruit, either will happen by the time i need him.

    then when she is out, he gets his effect, 1700, but still strong enough to get over a jinzo in D, or any monarch in D. i do run 2 IIWs in the side. and i did end up siding the ceasefire for another mag circle, and i sided out the swords, just to keep it there for now until i can get D Pris. i dont really like bottomless anymore because so many decks get around it with lower attack monsters or decree or stardust/shooting star. thats why im waiting for a D Pris so i can main it.

    i tried allure with imperial, but its so situational because most times ive already activated IIW when i finally draw into allure, or IIW gets 7 toolsed when chain it to allure. and no, Necro does NOT prevent Simorgh from hitting the field: it does NOT have to be special summoned; it can and has been normal summoned on me causing me to slow down. granted book could come in handy here, but this is where assailant usually comes in handy.

    i dont have any veilers, and i also dont like veiler for my own personal reasons. JD has been an issue for me, but my side cards (watch other video) like leeching the light, and i might be exchanging those for removal cards soon, seem to do the trick, as well as gale. if i had D Pris i would run it, but i dont.

    not trying to be rude but: i did mention i would run 2 warnings if i had them, only have 1. i dont run book for several reasons. i used to run 2, and then i ran 1 sided one..but most times ended siding out for MSTs. honestly, its just a waste for me IMO. granted-i cant abuse spy as much, but i dont want to increase the deck size again. i manually pushed it from 60 to 41, thats A LOT for me. granted, if i get dualitys and another warning, i would try it at 44/45 again.

  • Also, you seem to have an immense dislike against RFP as evident from your refusal to run Allure of Darkness and the way you describe Imperial Iron Wall. Gravekeeper's should focus on getting Necrovalley set up as quickly as possible. That why 2-3x Necrovalleys, 3x Commandants, and 3x Dualities are essential. I know Dualities are a bit expensive, but that's the price you pay to be competitive, IF that's what you're trying to do. Necrovalley prevents that Dark Simorgh from ever hitting the field.
