  • I have a question and I think you answered it below requiring a tune for this as I have a SCT SF3. I just ordered your BBK Cold Air Intake 1736, just yesterday for my 08 GT Mustang. Should I wait to install the cold air intake, till I get the throttle body. As I understand no tune required, or is that just for the throttle body, but with the cold air intake and even though there is no tune on that either. But can you access the intake, via the tuner and increase performance? next BBK underpully

  • @orton505- You can ground to the negative battery terminal, or to an unpainted bolt head inside the engine bay. The one we use is above the headlight on the passenger side.

  • @bbkperformance I'm a newb when it comes to working on cars, the instructions say to "ground the black wire" but my question is where/how do I ground the black wire when checking the TPS with a digital volt meter?

  • @westcoast4081- Sure do...Check out the BBKPerformance page and it's there.

  • @deadpoolkillu187- You can use the tune you already have but it is not "required" to make the TB work properly. The TB functions are not modifiable with a tuner.

  • @bbkperformance - so would you guys advice AGAINST a re-tune? I already have a tuner and I've added exhaust and this TB since my last tune....
