Also, just to add, if Bradley Manning deserves to be in prison, then for the sake of consistency, so should every single crime that was in those "SECRET DOCUMENTS" should be prosecuted. That means the group that shot at the van of 2 Reuters journalists and 2 children.

whys that?

you know there is very little evidence (if any) that the evidence wiki-leaks released was sensitive information, the secretary of defense agreed on this. What wikileaks released however did help start the arab spring for democratic reform, gave the American public stronger evidence of the crimes hidden by the government.

Technically what he did was not treason because his intentions and actions were to help our great country, he could had given it to the enemy but he did not.

in the spirit of the man whose birth will be celebrated next Sunday, please do something, anything, to help this young man who spends his birthday tonight behind bars. I say, enough. Let him go home and spend Christmas with his family. We've done enough violence to the world this decade while claiming to be a country that admires the Prince of Peace. The war is over. And a whole new movement has a lot to thank Bradley Manning for.
