Hello there,
have you used these lures with a large single hook, threaded through the body instead of a treble ???
Would they also cast on a fly rod ??? I`m thinking of pike (muskie) over here in england.
can some one help me, at 3:56 what is he talking about and if it is not a swivel can i use a swivel instead of whatever he is talking about.

@kevbot31 in the Video I was using nylon braided wire and so you would need to use a cinch. If you were to use regular fishing line, Mono, Braid, or flouro you could use a swivel.
There are many variations of rope lures. You can make them as simple or complex as you would like.

I carry a sharp knife and two pairs of pliers. I keep my hands away from the teeth! it takes a while to untangle these guys but they are hardy fish. If it is bad enough I just cut and untangle cut some more and put on a new lure.
