This final took less than an hour and a half, while Djokovic vs Nadal took nearly six hours. Yet the prize money is the same. Sharapova got the same reward for winning only three games and capitulating meekly as Nadal got for winning 25 games (plus a tie-break) and producing, in my opinion, the greatest Grand Slam final since Wimbledon 2008. That can't be right. I wouldn't want uneven prize money, so isn't it about time women started playing five sets?

In women's tennis, winning a grand slam is nothing special, the same best of 3 sets. the only difference with a masters is that you have to play an extra round, which they often win 6-0, 6-2 or something like that, grand slams in women's tennis should be at least best of 5 sets in the final to be worth so many points for accomplishing almost the same thing,

I think only the best women are capable of playing best of 5. Therefore...the best solution without having unequal amount of prize money..is to make ONLY the women's final..a best of 5.
