Originally released in 2001, directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer). Posthuman Records was the label, headed up by Marilyn Manson. This is actually the director's cut, slightly different than the version that aired on MTV. It appears on the album "2000 Years of Human Error."

  • So this was just posted and titled Directors Cut. It is only 4 seconds longer then the original version. Love gODHEAD but uumm hu?

  • @MystikRavyn The song is the same length, he just chose different shots than what was accepted by the record label.

  • Upon further review, I've come to realize this cover is the tale of one lonely man's inability to walk past a yellow-painted electronics store, lamenting his sad life as he approaches it over and over, noting the sad faces of his other bandmates as they give up an accept the pure existential horror of it all, condemned for all eternity to never leave the alley behind the store.

  • Mono? Why mono?! WTF!

  • Jasons One Of The Nicest Guys Ive Ever Met, If Not THE Nicest Guy.

  • Nostalgic..

  • Why does it say 500 days of Summer?

Isnt this track from 2000 years of human error?

  • @NiclasTheMightyNoob and you are one! Jason's a great guy

  • I met this guy at a SOiL gig, they were supporting, I was in the crowd Screaming "ELEANOR RIGBY!" and nobody knew why, because nobody knew who Godhead where.

After they finished their set, he came into the crowd, and I was speaking to him for hours, he was actually walking around with me!!!

He asked me if when they went to liverpool, they'd like the cover, or wouldn't, being a beatles song and all, and I said to him - "Do it, they will love you".

He's one of the nicest people i've ever met.

  • yeah, this was my first godhead album... :) got it when i was 16 while in a [community based] correctional facility in idaho. lol!!! great album nevertheless, a classic (or so i feel... the music from this album with be with me till i die... timeless- AKA classic).

  • One of the best covers i have ever heard.
