FF Tactics Max Stats Guide Fastest (part 2/11: attaching the rocket)

Having 999 HP, 999 MP, a speed of 50, a physical attack of 99, and a magic attack of 99 seems like you'd have to use a Gameshark or the related in order to have. It turns out that it's entirely possible to have such stats without cheating, rather, exploiting a weakness/design flaw in the game. You've seen the basics for stat-raising, now I'll strap a rocket to the process and fire it off. I'll show you the fastest method I'm aware of, for both basic stat raising and the case of when the stat-raiser is a mime. Unseen in the video is the disabling of messages, effects, and the displaying of gained exp and JP. Phase 1 goes from taking an hour to just 40 minutes. Phase 2 goes from taking 2 hours to taking just 1 (and opens up the possibility of getting 50+ levels within 10 minutes).

why don't people use fovoham plains?

it has a delevel trap and if you stand on the right squares you dont even need to look at the enemies lvl or exp, just height :P

It's been 1 1/2 years since I last played this game (Disgaea has taken over and then some), but, if I recall, the enemies you get there can move very far which can cause some problems. The lower the movement range of the enemies, the easier it is. That's why I use that one swamp.

why slow your down-leveler? Did you not want to down-level quick to re-level?

The effect this has is very slight. This way, you can get Ramza to raise the stat-raiser's speed much more quickly.  Sleep also works. Once Speed is maxed and you knock out Ramza (trigger the sleep trap), sleep on your stat-raiser expires in a flash. For phase 1, it trims off only about 2 minutes (and against 30, that's a tiny 7%). For phase 2, it trims off about the same, though because it takes about 50 minutes at the fastest, it's a mere 4%. It still adds up though.
