I do live in the DC metro, and where I live, not a single non-Clear Channel rock station exists that doesn't repeat the same music over and over and over and over and over and over and over again....I love the radio, but locally it just...sucks! Only station I like is our classical station 90.9 WETA...I would love to see a low power rocker to appear in Northern Virginia..

This is a great idea to give power to the community! So that that Clear Channel doesn't have to own all the radio stations in North America!
Power to the People!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if we can keep Net Nuetrality before, ATT, Verizon & the Cable Companies make us pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed topic. In 2006 my senior research in college (Stetson University) was on LPFM. I was dreaming of starting one.
