@TheMaskhadov But socialism does NOT say "it is your responsibility to give resources to those who need them". Socialism says "the state has a right to take your resources and distribute them as it sees fit." That is theft. The state does not have a right to enforce the redistribution of wealth.

Whether USA has a democrat or republician is office ..we need a person with extensive moral fiber (including traditional family values & helping the poor)...traditional catholic opinions.

Socialism is the transition from Capitalism to Communism. Socialism nearly always end up in full blown Communism.

Socialism is actually just a means of equal distribution of property through common ownership

@RealCatholicTV When a rich man came up to Jesus he asked what more he had to do he was told to give up everything and follow Jesus. Jesus is clear not to hoard money. Socialism is right in several things though obviously not its belief on religion. People that have nothing must be helped it is a responsibility of being a catholic to help your neighbour

@Brownyman "Evil" is an absolute, not a relative term. Things that are evil are objectively so, not just unpleasant to certain groups.

The fact that the maker of this video doesn't even know the difference between communism and socialism shows that he isn't to be taken seriously concerning the subject. Communism is a by definition a "classless society where property rights are universally shared under a democratic rule that is free of oppression." Socialism is actually just a means of equal distribution of property through common ownership. (You can be a socialist without being a communist, but not the other way around.)

Yeah - we should listen to someone who thinks communisim is always free of opression, because it shows he has SUCH an expertise in China, and Korea, and the USSR, and Cuba . . .
