Yes, this is a BBQ / camp-fire made of an old washing machine. Due to the open structure of the drum, oxygen access is no problem. Due to its origin (yes Byrds) it still can Turn, Turn, Turn. Centrifuge to BBQ!
Dismantle an old washimg machine, take the was-drum and the drum pivoting system out of the inner case. Than mount the pivoting system an on the back (on the ouside) of the formar inner case. Connect back the wash-drum on the pivoting system. Put som charcoal inside the drum, fire it up, and spin, spin, spin. Check also my other bbq-videos for the great effects possible with this device.
To see how this new barbeque should look: check: www.superuse.org/story.php?title=centrifuge-your-barbeque . Based on an original idea from: 2012 architecten Rotterdam, Netherlands: www.2012architecten.nl
wicked cool - but anyone who builds this should plan for metal parts not designed for fire suddenly failing & centrifugal force spewing jagged metal & fire everywhere.
Something to wind out to max RPM somewhere with no people or flammables in range switched on by remote control. Any way to get a washer to spin much faster than designed for the rest of the old machines life? Maybe an unholy marriage with an old lawnmower with governor removed from engine.
