Symphony Hall in Boston has two basic configurations: seats in rows for symphony concerts and seats at tables for the Boston Pops.
I have always wondered about the process of moving all of the rows of seats out and bringing in all of the tables and chairs, which must happen at least weekly.
I could never figure out where they stored the seats and chairs.
I never realized there was an elevator from the basement directly into the hall.
