Great Wall of China

We went to the Great Wall of China on our way to Bangladesh. I told my travel agent to find the worse possible connection to Dhaka so that we can stop as many places as possible on our way home. He was able to make a stop at Beijing for us. The Great Wall was about an hour drive from the city. As you know, it is a very very long Wall. Only few sections of the Wall is restored for the visitor to see. What wowed me was not the length of it but where it was erected. I was surprised to the see that the Wall was erected on the top of the mountains. We would see the Wall on the top of the mountains as we got closer to it. We had to take the cable car to get to it. When I was on top of the Wall, I was so grateful that God has blessed me to see all the top tree wonders of the World. I had seen the Pyramids, Taj Mahal and now it was the Great Wall of China.
