Why would you want to INCREASE your shifting time, wouldn't DECREASING be better?

Want more power from your Geo? Geo has placed a special "Turbo button" within the car itself in plain sight.
It's the A/C button.

If you want to make your car faster, lighten it up or add more air and fuel. And it's not a "gas pedal"; it's a throttle. The pedal just opens a butterfly valve on the throttle body. If you push it too far, the butterfly valve will start to close again. Adjusting the pedal should not be done without checking to make sure that at full throttle the butterfly valve is fully open.
Good video footage by the way! Have fun with your Geo!

Pretty cool stuff man!!! I also have an 94, 5 speed geo metro. How many miles are on yours??? does your oil turn black about 3 weeks after an oil change???

If you really want to make your Geo go faster replace the trans with a 95 or later Geo trans (final drive ratio of 4.39 as opposed to the 4.10 that your 94 has.) Also port matching the heads can add up to 20hp and remove the bridge from the throttle body (the part that the air cleaner cover screws down to, it creates air resistance) and replace it with a standard bolt to block the air. And lastly, if you can, open the exhaust up to 2 inches put a high flow cat and a cheap 2 inch muffler.

So about a half inch before the engage point? I'll need to find a flat surface, maybe my garage to find out the engagement point.
How do you know when to stop tightening, like how do you know when the bolt stops in the spot the clutch engages?

usually your clutch will be kinda tight when you push it down and then it will just kinda get loose and drop to the floor after you push it so far. and park the car on a small slant just enough for it to roll if the clutch is push. and slowly push it to see when it starts to roll. you will want to tighten the bolt like a half inch before the point where the car starts to roll. and that should increase your shifting time.
