Four White Mages - Final Fantasy I - Act 1

Act 1: Here Goes Nothin'

This is Part One of what I hope will be an ongoing series in my quest to complete Final Fantasy I for the NES using 4 White Mages. This is extremely difficult given their very low damage output and paper-tiger like defenses.

I'm saving states with an emulator just to make sure the game saves correctly, but I'll be using the punishing in-game save system for restarts(only save at INNs =/).

Why am I doing this? I've always wanted to try doing this project...and I was very bored at work.

although... when it comes to them only getting ONE base-stat, then I will take the best 4/5 because the chances of getting all 5.... well I've never yet reached. So I took the best 4/5 if they only got one base stat such as INT and that was it. But if they got 2 or more, I made sure they got all 5 stats each level before moving on. If 1 of them gets to Lv 10 and gets 3 base stats, they ALL will. their base (guaranteed) stats per level are pre-determined. Fight for rest loadstate

I LOL'd over and over until my Excalibur grew to unproportioned sizes and I quaked in my pants!

Don't change a THING about your vid edits! Hilarious as hell, and with a White Mage... I get it lol

When I did my run through, I killed all but 1 character (by the end of the fight that made me level up) and then used Save-State and made sure the character got all 5 stats before moving on. Few more levels, then woke next guy up, Lv 2 perfect stats, few more levels... rinse&repeat
