Lost Eden, a Strategy/ Point and Click hybrid game from the now defunct Cryo studios, is one of the most fondly remembered PC games of my childhood. This is partly due to the smooth, moving 3d graphics, which for the time (I was like, 4-5?) were pretty incredible stuff, as well as the art direction and story.

One of the things that always stuck out the most in my mind though, was the brilliant soundtrack by composer Stéphane Picq. The soundtrack was so well regarded in fact, that it was released on CD after the game's release, despite the game's relative obscurity.

I thought I would make the Lost Eden soundtrack available on Youtube in tribute to this much overlooked title.

  • Does anyone know the goddamn name of the song from Tamara (Valley of Despair)???

  • Not exactly sure, but the soundtrack doesn't have all the songs from the game, just the ones the composer wanted to arrange.

  • I recently put up the song from Tamara, ripped directly from the game, along with the other two tracks that were unreleased. :)

  • Awesome stuff! Consider them fav'd

  • Absolutely superb ! Nice game. Eden.. Sorry... Even better sound track! :)

  • 3 people have never visited the citadel of knowledge

  • o this song beautiful, great memorys

  • @TheEocene He is mute to us, the players, but given the speech of the other characters, we can infer that he is saying things to them. One example would be Ulan of the Ulele, when he says "the velociraptors interest you, Adam of Mo?", implying that Adam had asked.

  • @Nonamearisto But it would sort of cheapen the end of the first one. It would be nice though, but as it was never exactly a popular game and it's company has been bought out, I can't see it happening.

How can Adam narrate? I thought he was mute?

  • @layvoi My reply is a little late (2 years, oops ), but contact NEOSCOTTIE, as he will be happy to PM you the track :)

  • Great parts of the magic, I felt when playing this game many years ago came from this exceptional soundtrack !

  • Anyone else think a Lost Eden 2 should have had an old Adam as the narrator, recalling his days with Eve, and sons Cain, and Abel?

  • If they revamped and added more parts to it, it would be awesome on the ps3 since the technology we have nowadays would make it more awesome ^.=.^

  • Yeah, agreed...Although, a GOOD remake would be welcome.
