These are 8 authentic photographs shown in a slide show. Just take a look at the many photographs I have taken deep inside hundreds of flowers and plants before you start thinking that they are anything but real. Nobody can shoot this many photographs and see the kind of things I have photographed and not be telling the truth.
As to what we are looking at here, that is subjective and I for one still don't know what the heck I am looking at. @Sindrake No. This is why I said "If you don't think that a theory of God is rationally defensible, you wouldn't think a theory of God's book is rationally defensible." You put the cart before the horse by addressing questions of Scripture before the question of God. Let's discuss God first. The philosophical bases for belief in God. I won't take the authority of scripture for granted. And THEN we'll have an honest and productive dialogue. Because we'll both have something at stake.

That aside, check James 5:16."Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful." And so we ask Mary to pray to God for us. Jesus, Word made Flesh, is God--and yes, He is Mediator of our New Covenant. Jesus is King by Nature. Mary is Queen by grace.

@Sindrake You quote Jeremiah as if his prophesy was ahistorical. It wasn't. It was before the Incarnation of Christ. Prior to the Incarnation, there was no God-man and a Queen of Heaven had not yet been crowned. Read Revelation 12.  "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." Read ALL of 12. Especially 12:17. You, as a Christian, are "her offspring." "Son, behold your Mother." Jn 19:26-27.

I just came back from seeing Carmelo Cortez at a Catholic church in Ohio. My rose petal has an exquisite, very detailed image of the Last Supper. It's less than one inch in diameter, but it is unmistakable and clear as a bell... these images are not cases of "seeing what you want to see" - like when you look at clouds. It's like as if you took a 300 dpi photograph and shrunk it down, with every detail intact!
