you guys are all idiots, when he said the engines are the same he was not meaning the exact same, if you had done any research at all before posting your dumb comment, you would realise that the base motor is the same, the vr and vq blocks are the same, vr simply means it is a stronger casting and also as you should know stronger internals aswell as what is known as a stroker crank to increase the overall cc rating.. seriously if you couldnt work that out , i would hand in your drivers lisence.

If it did have the same engine as another car it would be the 370z anyway, its newer, mor advanced and just a better engine. But the GT-R engine is a GT-R engine.. No other car has it unless it was swapped, and why would you wanna do that xD

no, the "Skyline" doesnt, the "GTR" has the vr38dett. the GTR and Skyline are 2 seperate cars with different motors now.

Yea but you miss one thing. You can swap engines in the GT-R, the gearbox is made for only 1 engine.
