@airmansgirl11 mine has awhile yet. he just deployed about a month ago. i havent seen him in 2 months so its hard.

@albrott i have a little over 4 months before he will be home. my little sister pulled me out on the back porch last night a told me to close one eye and while looking with the other eye hold my thumb up to the moon. and she said thats the same moon my ''bubba'' looks at everynight. and he misses you i know he does. i sat on the porch and cried for a while.

@airmansgirl11 i am currently surviving my first deployment with my soldier as well. its hard not knowing what they are doing from day to day but but i know hearing his voice always makes it worthwhile. i pray for our boys to come home safe and sound.

currently surviving our first deployment. the hardest job in the world is loving a soldier. but yet it is the most rewarding! my wedding had to be put off because duty came calling. and i understand that :) but i sleep with the telephone. i wait for the letters. i pray. but when im out i hold my head up high. i cant wait to see him!

when we start seeing these men we know what and who they are, we just as easily make the choice to serve with them as they did to serve. i understand so many women can handle it and maybe because i grew up military its different for me, but your men, or women, need your support, the letters, phone calls, emails, just to give them that little bit of hope that everything really will be ok.
